Marlene Whatley was a witch who held a personal grudge against Phineas Evantide. Marlene, with the aid of her accomplice Daniel and her familiar Strugala, held Evantide's familiar Tarantula hostage. She created three cockroach men to defeat the Ghostbusters, but they were destroyed. Phineas Evantide then banished Marlene and her cohorts to another dimension.
