Somewhere in the South American Jungle, Professor Don 'Digger' Bottomless-Pitt was exploring the Ziggurat that had the Mask of Quelzatalcum. The Professor ends up opening the secret place of the mask and then examined it. He then wore the mask and became possessed by the mask.
In New York, the weather became weird as it began raining down bats and hedgehogs. Later, the Ghostbusters went to City Hall where authorities called on the Ghostbusters to deal with the stepped pyramid that recently popped up in Central Park. The Ghostbusters then left and went to the Ziggurat in Central Park, and seen on top was a person. The Ghostbusters go up the the front steps on the Ziggurat. Peter addressed the figure, which referred to itself as Quelzatalcum. The Ghostbusters then processed to blast him, but he disappeared into the vortex. The Quelzatalcum can be heard mocking the Ghostbusters, before the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse showed up from the vortex.
After ever Ghostbuster tried to blast one of the four horsemen each, Egon concluded it might be time to give crossing the streams a try. When the dust settled, the four horsemen went back through the vortex. Quelzatalcum greeted them, not knowing they were not the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, but were the Ghostbusters instead. The Ghostbusters blasted him til his mask flew off revealing a confused Professor Don 'Digger' Bottomless-Pitt. The mask was still moving so Peter picked it up, only to reveal a small purple demon. Ray trapped him which sent the four Ghostbusters and the Professor back to Ziggurat in Central Park. They left the scene noting they had won, though Central Park is still stuck with the Ziggurat eye-sore.
