As part of a ransom plot, Spiderlegs' Henchmen demanded their boss Spiderlegs to be freed from the Containment Unit and for her release to be signaled by requesting "The Twist" on Moon Man's show. Instead of releasing Spiderlegs, the Ghostbusters requested the song in person with Moon Man and had him also play the recording of a frequency only Slimer could hear. Moon Man complied and thus, helped the Ghostbusters locate Slimer.
