Paddy's Clam House is one of the largest and oldest seafood establishments in New York. It was founded by Paddy White in the Bronx in the late 1800s. Around the 1920s, it was moved to West 34th Street, between 7th and 8th Avenue.

In March 1986, the Ghostbusters first met Loci just outside Paddy's. The Ghostbusters were unable to confine it in Proton Streams and tried to run away. Luckily, Paddy's was not damaged at all during the confrontation unlike most places visited by the Ghostbusters.
