Pier 34 is a pier located on the Hudson River near the Holland Tunnel in Lower Manhattan.
History[]
On New Years Eve 1989, the ethereal Titanic docked at Pier 34. Dozens of ghosts disembarked from the Titanic for parts unknown. A Dock Supervisor called the Midtown Central Police Precinct from the Port Authority office and reported the event. The supervisor remarked to his assistant, "better late than never." Soon after, the same supervisor and assistant watched as the Statue of Liberty arrived at Pier 34 with the Ghostbusters aboard. They were speechless.
