The Queensboro Bridge (also known as 59th Street Bridge) is a double-decked cantilever bridge founded on March 30, 1909. It passes over Roosevelt Island and the East River. Primarily, it connects Queens' Long Island City to Manhattan between 59th and 60th Streets. It has a total length of 3,724 feet and 6 inches and is 100 feet wide.
The Ghostbusters' cases stretch past Manhattan to other parts of New York such as Queens. On an investigation involving the Wander Hills Orphanage, they passed through the Queensboro Bridge. However, on their return to Manhattan, Ecto-1a suffered a flat tire on the bridge. Egon Spengler used the spare time to go over data involving the return of the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.
- In Issue #2, page nine, in the lane opposite to Ecto-1a is the Highway Haunter from Kenner's Haunted Vehicles line.
- In Issue #3, page four, the Troll leader from "Troll Bridge" stands above the Ghostbusters on the bridge and the A-Team van heckles the Ghostbusters as Ray Stantz fixes a flat tire.
