The Sample Analyzer is a sophisticated research instrument located in the Firehouse lab, circa 1997, used to almost instantly determine components of a physical sample.
History[]
Egon Spengler used the Sample Analyzer to study a feather found by Roland Jackson in the office of Professor Barthes. The print out determined the sample contained a dog hair, a lion hair, a snake scale, and a strand from a bird wing.[1] Egon used the Analyzer to study ectoplasmic residue recovered from Chip Hanson and confirmed a 98.1 % match with the residue from the apartment of Tina Bell.
