Sebouillia

The Sebouillia are a largely unknown race. The most humans know about them is that Gozer was their lord, as mentioned in his title "Lord of the Sebouillia".

HistoryEdit

The Sebouillia are a lost pre-Sumerian society that worshiped Gozer. The Sebouillias disappeared without a trace but the ancient Sumerians kept a fragment from their religious text called the Glethestement. Written in Sanskrit, a rough translation reveals the Sebouillias suffered from decadence and Gozer destroyed them for their sins. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]

TriviaEdit

  • According to the August 5, 1983 draft of the movie, the Temple of Gozer was an exact replica of a Sebouillian temple. [7] [8]
