The Skinless Man [1] is the ghost of a man who murdered his wife in Duluth, Minnesota.

History[]

In the early 20th century, a man murdered his wife in Duluth, Minnesota. [2] Her ghost was anchored to the Fairlawn Mansion in Superior, Wisconsin where she worked as a servant girl. Unable to fully manifest and attack her, he relocated the mansion six miles north overnight from Superior to the Bayfront Festival Park in Duluth. It was believed the ghost would have eventually turned on the general public if left alone. Special Agent Melanie Ortiz skipped the standard investigation and immediately contracted Ron Alexander and Lou Kamaka from the Chicago Ghostbusters. They entered the mansion on December 1. They observed temperatures below zero, a green light bathing the interior, high and erratic P.K.E. readings, and a "negative vibe." The cold and light intensified as they went through the mansion. They followed the strongest signal upstairs and found the Skinless Man strangling the servant girl ghost. Luckily, Ron's abrasive personality and insults caught the Skinless Man's attention. He moved quickly and attacked Ron, attempting to strangle him. Ron managed to open his own Trap and capture the entity. The girl whispered a thank you to them and vanished. Fairlawn had to be manually disassembled and moved back to Duluth over the next few weeks.
