The Spirit of Detroit is a city monument comprised of a large bronze statue created by Marshall Fredericks. It is located at the Coleman A. Young Municipal Center on Woodward Avenue in Detroit, Michigan. The gilt bronze sphere emanating rays of light are meant to symbolize God.
