Bowling Green[]
Please clue in about Bowling Green. Was that the park the bear statue was near at the end of the issue, since the bear is a stand in for the charging bull? If yeah, I can start an article. Need to flip through the issue again, so mind blown from The Walking Dead right now. Mrmichaelt 05:36, March 19, 2012 (UTC)
- Look at Ghostbusters Wiki:Ghostbuster World Map (IDW Comics Canon), I put it at the south of Manhattan. I went with it being based on Charging Bull statue. Devilmanozzy (Talk Page) 05:42, March 19, 2012 (UTC)
- "Sigh" and my coordinates were off. Just fix them. This takes trial and errors. Devilmanozzy (Talk Page) 05:49, March 19, 2012 (UTC)
- Okay wait. Looking at Google Maps. I think that is correct given Idulnas is able to use the viewer on the Empire State Building to find the bear statue and Bowling Green. Yeah? Mrmichaelt 05:58, March 19, 2012 (UTC)
- I have to go with what is given. I can tell you right now, not everything is going to make cents. Wander Hills Orphanage's address is made up. While there is a 164th Street, Queens, New York... the zip is wrong and there is no "433". So the street may be all I can give. Which bridge is that the guys are on page 9? - Since they were going to Queens, I'm guessing the Queensboro Bridge? Mrmichaelt 06:20, March 19, 2012 (UTC)
- Seems to be a reference to this: Spook Central- Locations in NY (Manhattan Bridge). Devilmanozzy (Talk Page) 06:30, March 19, 2012 (UTC)
- I submitted three questions on the IDW Forums (is it Queensboro Bridge, is it Bowling Green, and is it homage to Manhattan Bridge), so let's wait on an answer. Mrmichaelt 06:50, March 19, 2012 (UTC)
- I received a follow up with Dan Schoening via email. He confirmed it was Bowling Green and Queensboro Bridge. I can understand how that's hearsay but the evidence is clear on its own.

1) The bear statue charged down Wall Street past Peter's apartment. The Charging Bull is at Wall Street at 26 Broadway, the tip of Bowling Green so that has to be it behind the statue in Issue #2.
2) It is Queensboro Bridge. The top of the bridge, those spire thingies match up with what the bridge looks like. In #2, in the same panel as the Highway Haunter cameo, they pass over what looks like Roosevelt Island. The bridge passes over the island and the East River. In #3, the lit up bridge looks exactly what the Queensboro looks lit up at night as well.
If we're agreement, I can start up the two articles. Yes? Mrmichaelt 02:51, March 30, 2012 (UTC)
- There is no reason I could see to disagree. Carry on. Oh, and yes. Devilmanozzy (Talk Page) 03:08, March 30, 2012 (UTC)
