The Tuileries Garden is a public garden between the Louvre Museum and Place de la Concorde in the first arrondissement of Paris. It was created by Catherine de Medici as garden of the Tuileries Palace in 1564.
The Ghostbusters pursued the ghost of Jean l'Ecorcheur from the Louvre to the Tuileries. Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, and Winston Zeddemore ran half a mile to the garden and witnessed Jean attempting to bond with the Poveglian Artifact and evolve into a higher spectral class. They were unable to penetrate the energy field surrounding Jean. While the Ghostbusters fired at Jean and occupied its attention, Lieutenant Philip Constantin sneaked around the ghost and fired the Ghost Taser on the artifact, destroying it. The Ghostbusters then trapped Jean. They returned to the Louvre to search for the Unknown Soldier Ghosts who initially took the artifact to the Louvre.
- According to lore, the ghost of Jean l'Ecorcheur haunts the Tuileries where he was allegedly assassinated.
