So I thought, what's crazier than making my own version of Tobin's Spirit Guide. 2 seconds later, "I know, I'll create a Timeline file!" Well, that's basically how it happened but after several months; it is complete: a Microsoft Excel xls file that contains all events in the world of the Ghostbusters. They are divided into three tabs: All Canon, Animated Canon, and Movie Canon.

All Canon includes Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters II, The Real Ghostbusters, Slimer!, Extreme Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters: The Video Game, and select events from the Ghostbusters International Role-Playing Game version of Tobin's Spirit Guide.

Animated Canon includes The Real Ghostbusters, Slimer!, and Extreme Ghostbusters.

Movie Canon includes Ghostbusters, Ghostbusters II, Ghostbusters: The Video Game, and select events from the Ghostbusters International Role-Playing Game version of Tobin's Spirit Guide.

Columns are divided by Timeframe, Month, Day, Year, Era, Event, Stated, Conjecture, Reasoning, Source, Franchise, Production Number, and Year/Network/Season.

Timeframe entails descriptions of time that cover more than a day in length such as "March 13-14."

Month entails the standard 12 months of the year.

Day is easy enough to understand.

Year, as well.

Era entails either B.C. or A.D.

Event is a description of the event in time.

Stated records who stated the event, era, year, day, month, and/or timeframe.

Conjecture records if timeframe, month, day, year, and/or era is an educated guess.

Reasoning elaborates on Stated and provides further information.

Source states the name of the episode, movie, book, or video game the event occurs in.

Franchise entails abbreviations of Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II as "GB," The Real Ghostbusters as "RGB," Slimer! as "S!," Extreme Ghostbusters as "EGB," Ghostbusters: The Video Game as "TVG," and select events from the Ghostbusters International Role-Playing Game version of Tobin's Spirit Guide as "GBI."

Production Number records production numbers, usually, of episodes from the animated series.

Year/Network/Season likewise records such of episodes from the animated series, as well.

It can be downloaded at my website here

Fingers crossed Sanctum of Slime and Ghostbusters III don't throw a monkey wrench or two in the gears. Eh, I'll just make a new tab. Enjoy!

EDIT: 11/1/11 - The file is no longer available to download. All information can be found in the Timeline project here on the wiki.
