Washington Square Arch is a marble triumphal arch in Greenwich Village's Washington Square Park in Manhattan at the southern terminus of 5th Avenue.

HistoryEdit

The Real GhostbustersEdit

In their third attempt to capture the Mean Green Teen Machine, the Ghostbusters went undercover and set up a fake pizza stand near the Washington Square Arch. Peter Venkman posed as the pizza man, Ray Stantz and Slimer as a mother and infant, and Egon Spengler and Winston Zeddemore as construction workers. The sting was a bust and the ghosts got away again.

Extreme GhostbustersEdit

In November 1997, S.I.D.N.E.E. absorbed the Washington Square Arch. A father grabbed his son, posing for a photo op, and ran away just in time. The arch returned to its rightful place after S.I.D.N.E.E was trapped by the Ghostbusters.
