A Zombie is a corpse brought back to life, usually by supernatural forces.

The Real GhostbustersEdit

The Petersons are Zombies that appear rose up from their former lands now owned by Samantha Stantz. [1] Egon Spengler, while donning Ecto Goggles, notes the Petersons leave behind an odd form of Ectoplasm.

Zombies also appear at Buster's party. Buster doesn't like Zombies because they have terrible teeth, which is due to their bodies having decayed during their time as lifeless corpses. [2] During the party, they were playing instruments and dancing. One was beating on the Containment Unit like it was a drum.

The Standard Ghosts and Demons Identification Test includes a card for a type known as "Recreational Zombie, Haitian Variety." [3]

Extreme GhostbustersEdit

Though Zombies were not encountered by the Extreme Ghostbusters, Eduardo sees an illusion of himself as a Zombie [4] and the Vathek known as Crainiac, Corpuscle, and Gristle look a lot like Zombies. [5]

The Ultimate InvasionEdit

Zombies appear as regular enemies in the video game Extreme Ghostbusters: The Ultimate Invasion.

Ghostbusters: The Video GameEdit

Ghostbusters: The Video Game features a regular enemy known as the Grave Fiend, which is very much like a Zombie. It is referred to as a zombie in its Tobin's Spirit Guide entry's Contact Protocol section and is given the descriptor "Reanimator" in its classification.

  • It should be noted that while Zombies are usually corporeal entities, the Zombies that appeared in The Real Ghostbusters appear as being something like a ghost.
